Tern Express Network A/S processes personal data only to move shipments, run accounts and improve the network. We are the data controller for tern.express and the Tern apps.
What we collect: contact details you give us, addresses on parcels, scan and GPS events for shipments in our care, and the technical basics every website sees. We do not buy third-party profiles and we do not sell data — full stop.
Where it lives: EU data centers in Denmark and the Netherlands. Shipment data follows the parcel only as far as customs and delivery require, under standard contractual clauses when it crosses borders.
How long: shipment records are kept 24 months for claims and customs, account data for as long as you keep the account, marketing preferences until you change them. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.
Your rights: access, correction, portability, deletion and objection — write to privacy@tern.express and a human (our DPO, not a queue) replies within five working days. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish supervisory authority.
