Our last-mile fleet is now 78% electric
412 new electric vans joined the network this quarter, pushing the last-mile fleet past three quarters electric — two years ahead of plan.
When we set a 2028 target for an 80 percent electric last-mile fleet, it felt ambitious. This quarter we passed 78 percent — two years early.
The latest batch of 412 vans covers our densest urban zones in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Vienna. Each one displaces roughly 11 tonnes of CO₂ a year, and drivers consistently rate them the best vehicles they have worked with.
Depot charging turned out to be the real project. Forty-one depots now run managed overnight charging that shifts load to off-peak windows, and eleven of them feed from on-site solar.
The remaining 22 percent is mostly rural routes where range and payload still argue for combustion. Those come next.
