TernOS route intelligence cuts empty miles by 17%

Every logistics network hides the same embarrassment: trucks driving air. Repositioning, unbalanced lanes, missed backhauls — the industry average puts empty running above 20 percent.

TernOS attacks the problem with a routing layer that learns. Instead of fixed schedules, the system continuously re-plans linehaul against live demand, weather, driver hours and port congestion, and it is allowed to be creative: a Vienna–Munich leg might detour through Salzburg tonight because tomorrow's flows want the trailer there.

Twelve months in, empty kilometres are down 17 percent across the European road network — 9.4 million kilometres that were driven last year and simply are not being driven now.
